The Group Opioid Project Workshop
Framingham FORCE brought persons in recovery together with first responders in a workshop, The Opioid Project, consisting of a 4-hour art and audio storytelling workshop where participants found a safe space to process their personal experiences with substance use disorder by creating collages and sharing stories. These stories were audio recorded, and, together with the art, contextualize and bring to life the human costs of the epidemic.
- Supporting different perspectives of those touched by the Opioid Crisis
- Raising awareness and educating communities about the stigma and costs
The Opioid Project is an interactive art and audio storytelling project designed to encourage dialogue, increase awareness, decrease stigma and change societal views about substance use disorder and those affected.
